How to tell if leggings are squat-proof
How to tell if leggings are squat-proof
- The daylight squat test: face a mirror in natural light and squat deep. If the fabric goes sheer or shows skin, it fails.
- The stretch test: pull the fabric taut over your hand: quality opaque knits stay dark; thin ones turn see-through.
- Check the knit: dense, high-stretch fabrics with targeted compression hold their opacity. Thin single-knits usually don't.
- Read the label: higher polyamide content with spandex generally means better opacity and recovery.
The Blackline was built around this test, knit to stay opaque through every rep. Shop The Blackline collection.
